 Today the State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine presented the head of the "Service Online" Company Andrey Khvetkevich with a certificate conferring the title of a patent attorney of Ukraine in the specialization "Signs for goods and services" and "Industrial designs".
The title of patent attorney — is an indication of a high level of proficiency in the field of intellectual property and deep knowledge of Ukrainian and international law.
To get the title of patent attorney, one should:
• have two degrees, one of which is in the field of intellectual property
• obtain practical experience of not less than five years in the field of intellectual property
• pass a qualifying examination and get a special certification.
Few can comply with these conditions, so there are now only about 370 patent attorneys in Ukraine.
