clientRenewProhibited — an EPP client status set by the registrar that blocks an explicit renewal request; it may require registrar action and does not necessarily stop registry auto-renewal.

Statuses prefixed with client are set by the registrar; statuses prefixed with server are set by the TLD registry. Server restrictions take precedence and normally require the registrar to investigate the underlying cause.
Review the domain’s RDAP or WHOIS output and the registrar control panel. Ask the registrar why an operation is blocked; a registrant cannot remove a server status directly.
