DNS over HTTPS (DoH) — DNS over HTTPS, a protocol that carries DNS queries and responses inside authenticated and encrypted HTTPS connections.
The mechanism changes how DNS queries are transported or processed; it does not make incorrect DNS data correct. Encryption protects the channel to the selected resolver, while answer integrity and logging policy depend on that resolver and DNSSEC.
