This type of configuration changes how a domain is used, not who owns it. Before enabling it, decide what users should see, which address should remain in the browser, and how the setup will affect HTTPS, email, and search indexing.

Verify the HTTPS certificate, mail records, destination URL, redirect type, and absence of loops. If duplicate content is involved, establish one consistent canonical URL.
