HTTP 5xx — the class of HTTP server-error responses indicating that the server failed to fulfill an apparently valid request.
A crawler follows HTTP responses and links, then consolidates or excludes URL signals according to the state it discovers. Temporary and permanent responses may be processed differently.
Trace the full URL chain and inspect each response code and header, the final page, canonical, robots directives, and internal links. Remove loops, long chains, and contradictory signals.
