serverTransferProhibited — an EPP server status imposed by the registry that blocks registrar transfer; only the registry can remove it, usually after resolving a policy, dispute, or security condition.
Several EPP statuses can appear at the same time and describe restrictions applied by the registrar or registry. A client status is normally controlled by the registrar, while only the registry can change a server status; the reason behind a lock matters more than the code alone.

Review the domain’s RDAP or WHOIS output and the registrar control panel. Ask the registrar why an operation is blocked; a registrant cannot remove a server status directly.
