Description of statuses for Ukrainian domains
The "status" field in Whois shows the current state of a registered domain. Below is a description of main statuses.
| Status | Description |

| ok | Status set when no other statuses apply. All operations on the domain are allowed. |
| inactive | Status set when there are no hosts in the domain. |
| clientHold | Status set by the registrar. Domain is removed from the zone. Domain operation is suspended. |
| serverHold | Status may be set by the registry. Domain is removed from the zone. Domain operation is suspended. |
| clientTransferProhibited | Status set by the registrar. Transfer prohibited. |
| clientUpdateProhibited | Status set by the registrar. Updates to the domain are prohibited. |
| clientRenewProhibited | Status set by the registrar. Renewal prohibited. Does not affect auto-renew. |
| clientDeleteProhibited | Status set by the registrar. Deletion of the domain is prohibited. |
| serverTransferProhibited | Status may be set by the registry. Transfer prohibited. |
| serverUpdateProhibited | Status may be set by the registry. Updates to the domain are prohibited. |
| serverRenewProhibited | Status may be set by the registry. Renewal prohibited. Does not affect auto-renew. |
| serverDeleteProhibited | Status may be set by the registry. Deletion prohibited. |
| pendingTransfer | Status automatically set during domain transfer. |
| autoRenewGracePeriod | Status after the domain registration period ends. Registrar can still renew the domain for the next period. |
| redemptionPeriod | Status after autoRenewGracePeriod. Domain can still be restored. |
| pendingDelete | Status after redemptionPeriod. Domain will be deleted from the registry in 5 days. |
