As of July 1, there were 375 million websites on the Internet.
According to data from analytics company Netcraft, as of July 1, there were 357.29 million websites operating online, namely 357,292,065 websites.
At the same time, the Apache web server continues to remain the leader; during June, it increased its base of served sites by 10.8 million. Thus, the total number of sites on Apache exceeds 235 million, or 65.9% of the total number of websites on the Internet.
In June alone, the number of websites running on Apache increased thanks to the French OVH, which transferred 8.7 websites to Apache.
A month earlier, OVH expanded the Apache database by another 1.5 million hosts.
The Microsoft IIS web server base serves more than 60 million websites, their number increased by 1.9 million in the last month. The total market share of IIS amounted to 16.8%.
