In 2009, Imena.UA/MiroHost expanded its communication channel capacity more than threefold.

By connecting to the new UA-IX Ukrainian traffic exchange point using 10 Gbps technology, the company's total capacity of Ukrainian channels has reached 14 Gbps. Furthermore, Imena.UA/MiroHost launched two external channels last year with a capacity of 2.5 Gbps (Comstar) and 1 Gbps (RETN, Russia).

"This significant increase in our company's bandwidth is primarily due to the development of our data center and will provide our clients with a significant increase in connection speeds both to the Ukrainian segment of the network and to the global internet, which will positively impact the quality of our services," noted Alexander Olshansky, President of Imena/UA/MiroHost.

Today, Imena.UA/Mirohost.net serves tens of thousands of Ukrainian websites and over 30% of Ukrainian domains, and provides server rental services, operating its own data center with a total capacity of 10,000 units.
