Porn domain administrator launches advertising campaign

ICM Registry, the administrator of the .XXX domain, has signed a contract with major advertising agency M&C Saatchi to conduct an advertising campaign for the .XXX porn domain.

As a reminder, several months ago, ICANN authorized the delegation of names in the .XXX domain zone. This domain zone will be used for the registration of so-called adult websites.

The advertising campaign will launch early next year. Its goal is to increase social responsibility among adult website owners and raise awareness of the domain.

One of the reasons for the advertising campaign is the problems with registering .XXX domain names. Owners of existing pornographic resources are in no rush to migrate their sites to the new domain extension, preferring to remain on .COM.
