A US court has refused to block the sale of Samsung devices.

Apple has failed to secure a ban on sales of South Korean company Samsung devices in the United States.

Apple wanted this ban for the same reason it succeeded in doing so in Australia and the Netherlands: Apple accused the South Korean manufacturer of infringing on the design rights to its Galaxy devices.

However, the court continues to hear Apple's patent lawsuit against Samsung, and the legal disputes between the companies are not yet concluded. However, Samsung will be able to sell its smartphones and tablets until the disputes are finally resolved.

Apple's request for a preliminary injunction on sales of Galaxy devices has been denied.

In total, the companies are engaged in a dispute between themselves, amounting to 20 separate legal proceedings in 10 countries around the world.

Experts estimate that in the US, companies can engage in legal proceedings against each other for a long time, up to 18 months.
