Analysts predict growth in data center investment
Experts from the analytical company Gartner predict that investment in data centers will increase significantly in the coming years.
The data center hardware market will reach $99 billion in 2011. Last year, this figure was $87.8 billion, according to research by analysts at Gartner.
In 2012, experts believe that the volume of this market will exceed $106.4 billion, and in 2015 - $126.2 billion.
Experts attribute the market growth to increased investment in data storage systems, which will be particularly in demand as a result of the growth of the cloud services market.
Analysts also note that by 2015, the cost of establishing large data centers will increase by approximately 26%. This will also be due to the active implementation of cloud services and the migration of data to remote systems.
