According to The New York Times, the increase in network traffic was detected on only one DNS server. This occurred at midnight on Friday, March 31. However, within a few minutes, all indicators returned to normal.

The authors of the article report that the Anonymous attack may not have taken place due to serious protective measures aimed at strengthening the security of the domain name system.
