Apple received a patent for iPhone design
Apple has been granted 18 new patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. All patents relate to the design and capabilities of its devices – the iPhone, iTunes, and Apple TV.
The description mentions some features of the device, such as the metal frame that acts as an antenna for receiving and transmitting cellular signals.
Experts believe that obtaining such patents ahead of the trial with Samsung is especially important, as this could serve as an argument for the company in its claims against the South Korean electronics manufacturer. As a reminder,Apple announcedthat Samsung's Galaxy series tablets copy the design of the iPhone and iPad.
