Apple wins iPhone porn domains

Apple has gained control over domain names mentioning the iPhone, which previously redirected users to pornographic websites.

These domains include iphonesex4s.com, iphone4s.com and six others.

Apple filed a complaint regarding these domains with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) back in 2008. All domains are owned by an Israeli company.

The Israeli company agreed to transfer its domains to Apple.

This isn't Apple's first attempt to secure domain rights. Through a complaint to WIPO, the company was able to gain control of the domains ipods.com, ipodhack.com, macbookpros.com, and several other names.
