Apple and Public Storage must return domains

A Texas court has overturned a World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) ruling that awarded Apple and Public Storage several domain names.

The disputed domains are misspelled names: publicstorge.com, pulicstorage.com, puplicstorage.com, and aplle.com. Apple and Public Storage acquired these domains in 2010-2011.

During the review, the judge ruled that WIPO had erred and ordered the registrar to cancel the transfer of the Apple and Public Storage domains, as well as to stop the transfer of 12 other domains transferred in similar disputes.

The registrar company must implement this decision within two days.
