There are almost 14,000 domains in the Azerbaijani .AZ domain.

As of early April 2012, there were 13,800 domain names in the Azerbaijani .AZ domain. This number had dropped by 200 at the beginning of March, and by early January, it had dropped to 13,100.

Since the beginning of the year, 755 domains have been deleted and 1,500 registered. Of these, 12,800 were registered in the .AZ domain, and 615 domains (610 names) were registered in the .COM.AZ domain.

The number of delegated domains as of April 6 was 11.7 thousand, compared to 11.4 thousand on March 2 and 11.1 thousand on January 6.
