Belarus is creating a mandatory website registry.

The Belarusian government has ordered the creation of state resources for the national segment of the Internet, hosted in the country.

The Ministry of Communications and Informatization or its authorized organization will register Belarusian websites. The website owner must contact the government agency, after which officials are required to register the website or deny it within 15 days.

To register, you must submit an application. The application must be in electronic format. The application must be submitted by a legal entity or individual entrepreneur providing internet access services to legal entities and individuals.

The application must include the name of the legal entity and the location of the owner of the Internet resource, as well as network addresses or domain names, the registration number of the data processing center hosting the resource, the type of hosting, the transport protocol ports used by the resource, and the names of email boxes.

Websites that are not registered by July 1 will be considered illegal. Applications for registration will be submitted not only by website owners, but also by data center owners.
