Free cloud technology training

The IT Skills 4U educational program for mastering cloud technologies has launched. The project is implemented by Amazon Web Services, the Ministry of Digital Development, and the Diia project. What is this program?

Cloud computing skills are highly sought after in today's marketplace. For example, the European job search portal EURES lists over 240,000 vacancies in this field.

IT Skills 4U— a free program for Ukrainians who want to learn new things, plan to start a new career, or improve their professional skills as an IT specialist.

According to the project's initiators, our IT sector has great potential, so it is important to assist Ukraine in training qualified specialists.

To this end, the IT Skills 4U program has developed several courses designed for participants with varying levels of digital literacy and knowledge of IT technologies (including introductory courses).

The goals of the IT Skills 4U project:

• attract more newcomers to work in the IT sector;
• train them in the necessary skills to work with AWS cloud;
• help find a job in a field that is in dire need of certified specialists;
• and also help specialists with IT experience take a new career step.

"We are proud to launch the IT Skills 4U development program, which provides Ukrainians with free cloud skills training and career support services," Amazon Web Services said in a tweet.

Certified Course  

By mastering the program of the chosen course, Ukrainians will be able to undergo the necessary training free of charge and pass the examObtaining an AWS certificate.

The IT Skills 4U program is free andwill last until the summer of 2023.

The project will providecareer support, providing access to a job posting database (constantly updated) containing offers from successful IT companies from all over the world.

Who can become a participant in the program?

Two categories of participants can join the IT training program for cloud technology specialists:

• experienced IT specialists;
• beginners who are just taking their first steps in IT or have minimal experience in this field.

How to join IT Skills 4U?

1. Register on the project website.

2. After registration, you will need to complete a short survey regarding:

• experience in IT;
• level of English proficiency;
• the amount of time the student will be able to devote to studying.

3. After analyzing the responses, each participant is given a choice of one of 10 curricula that best suits them.
