Thus, only 49% of traffic is traffic coming directly from users.

Automatic traffic can often be malicious or spyware, so it often poses a risk to end users.

On average, every website on the internet receives approximately 5% of its traffic as malicious. Another 5% comes from the ISP's internal network, 2% from spam comments, and 19% from various analytics software, such as search engines or business intelligence systems. Another 20% of website traffic comes from spyware.
