Registration of names in the Cyrillic domain .СРБ will begin on August 1.

Starting from 12 noon on August 1, free registration will begin for Serbia's Cyrillic domain .СРБ. As a reminder,first stage of limited registration in .СРБstarted at the beginning of the year, when owners of domains in the national domain of Serbia in Latin letters (in .RS) received the right to register their domains.

According to a statement from the National Domain Name Registrar of Serbia (RNIDS), the government lifted the reservation of names in the .СРБ zone reserved for state purposes on July 28. If these names are not purchased by the owners of the corresponding domains in Serbia's .RS domain within two days, anyone will be able to register them starting August 1.

The cost of registering a .СРБ domain for a year is approximately 5 euros.

ICANN approved the delegation of a Serbian IDN.back in November 2010.
