The number of names in the .UZ domain zone has exceeded 11 thousand.

Uzbekistan's .UZ domain zone has surpassed the 11,000 registered domain mark.

Currently, 59% of domains in the .UZ zone belong to legal entities and 41% to individuals.

Seven official registrars operate in the UZ domain: Tomas, Amaliy Aloqalar Biznesi, Sarkor Telecom, Billur Com, TV-Inform, Arsenal-D, and Simus. In 2006, there were only 2,600 domains in the national domain of Uzbekistan; in 2007, there were 3,600. In 2008 and 2009, there was active growth in the number of domain names.
