The number of .CZ domains has exceeded 750 thousand.

The number of domain names registered in the Czech .CZ domain zone has exceeded 750,000. The anniversary domain was registered on January 6, 2011.

In 2006-2007, an average of 5,000 domains were registered monthly in the Czech Republic. After the domain zone transitioned to the new, faster and cheaper FRED system for processing registrant applications, the number of domain names registered in the .CZ domain zone doubled. Currently, approximately 52% of domains in the country are registered by legal entities.

Analysts are confident that if the current registration rate continues, the millionth domain in the Czech domain zone will be registered by the end of 2012.
