What to remember if you have a domain
Domain registration seems simple at first glance. But there are some things you won't find on the registrar's website. These are acquired only with experience. We've compiled a few of the most important tips to save you the trouble.
1. Please provide your real name and email address.
When you create an account with a registrar, please provide your real first name, last name, and contact information. This will help prevent domain loss and avoid unnecessary hassle when transferring the domain to another registrar.
2. Update your domain details
If a domain contains false information, the registrar has the right to cancel the domain either by its own decision or by a decision of the administrator or the court.
Update your domain information only through your registrar. An email from someone else requesting to change your information could be a phishing scam.
3. Read letters from your registrar
Your registrar sends notifications about your domain expiration and other important information. Don't miss them!
4. Be vigilant
If you receive any suspicious emails about your domain, contact your registrar immediately. Your domain transfer code may have been stolen and needs to be changed or the transfer blocked.
