A fire broke out in the HOSTING.UA data center.
Last night, around 9:00 PM, a fire broke out in the Odessa data center of the hosting provider HOSTING.UA. The fire suppression system and extinguishing equipment failed. Therefore, instead of waterless extinguishing systems using dry powder or gas, the responding firefighters resorted to using their own extinguishing agents. This resulted in significant damage to the data center's servers. However, company specialists claim that some servers survived.
So far, the company's clients have not received official information about the incident or the extent of the damage. The HOSTING.UA website is also down. According to various estimates, determining the extent of the damage alone will take approximately seven days.
In addition to HOSTING.UA clients, the damage also affected the websites of other providers who hosted their equipment on the HOSTING.UA platform.
The company's data center was installed in the Business Factory business center in Odessa, located at 46 Dalnitskaya Street.
