The technical administrator of the .BY domain zone will change in December.

According to Yuri Zisser, CEO of the Reliable Programs UP, the technical administrator of the .BY domain zone will change in December of this year.

Currently, Open Contact LLC remains the technical administrator. In September 2010, Reliable Programs UP won the technical administrator competition. However, the new administrator has not yet assumed his responsibilities.

"After a year of delays, Open Contact LLC has finally agreed to cooperate with us," said Yuri Zisser. According to the transition plan, Reliable Programs UP will be finally confirmed as the technical administrator of the .BY domain zone in December of this year.

The new technical administrator has already promised to launch a full-fledged WHOIS service for all .BY domains on the Bynet. This will make it possible to identify the owner of a domain registered under the .BY domain.
