Dmitry Kokhmanyuk is running for a seat on the RIPE NCC board.
On April 18, the RIPE NCC will hold a vote to elect a Board member. Two candidates will participate: .UA domain administrator Dmitry Kokhmanyuk and Russian specialist Dmitry Burkov.
The RIPE NCC is an organization responsible for supporting internet infrastructure and technical coordination in its region, and is also a regional internet registry (RIR). Hostmaster is a member of RIPE.
The RIPE NCC Board consists of no less than three and no more than five members, each serving for three years. One of these members' terms expires in the coming days, so a vote will be held.
The addition of a Ukrainian specialist to the RIPE Board will allow for more effective representation of Ukraine's interests within the organization.
