The Coordination Center for the National Internet Domain presented a report from its head, Director A. V. Kolesnikov, on the organization's activities in 2011.

Thus, by the end of 2011, 3.6 million domain names were registered in the .RU domain. This is 4.6% higher than planned. However, the .RU domain did not grow as rapidly in 2011 as in 2011. However, compared to 2011, the number of domains in the .RU domain increased by 15.5%.

This growth rate has become one of the highest among the largest national domains in the world.

The report also presents data for the .РФ domain. Specifically, the document states that, as of 2011, there were 937,000 domain names in the .РФ domain.

According to the results of 2011, 659 thousand domain names, or 70% of their total number, were delegated in the .РФ domain.

In 2011, the number of delegated domains increased by 305 thousand, and the share of delegated domain names increased from 51% at the end of 2010 to 70% at the end of 2011.

The report notes that the rate of domain name delegation exceeded the rate of registration in 2011.
