The Retweet.com domain is for sale.

Retweet.com launched last year. This website hosts a Twitter aggregation tool. The service competed with a similar project, Tweetmeme, but failed to capture a significant market share.

The domain name Retweet.com is currently up for sale on the online auction site Flippa.bidThe Retweet.com domain is currently bidding for around $61,000, with 36 bids in total. Interestingly, the initial asking price was only $10.

It's not entirely clear why the owners decided to sell the domain. After all, the site has very good traffic: the project has 12 million unique users per month, viewing 26 million pages.

It is quite possible that Twitter will buy the domain – they are certainly interested in a domain name like Retweet.com.
