The Rnp.com domain cost its owner over 130 thousand

Chronopay owner Pavel Vrublevsky lost the domain name Rnp.com during his arrest. He had purchased the domain for his future business, paying $82,000 from the previous owner.

The domain Rnp.com stands for Russian National Programming. After Vrublevsky was arrested, the domain was lost because no one could renew it.

The new owner of the Rnp.com domain was a Chinese cybersquatter named Wei, who initially asked for $200,000 for the domain. However, after lengthy negotiations, Vrublevsky was able to negotiate a purchase price of $50,000. This means the Rnp.com domain cost the businessman $132,000.
