UZ Domain: The 10,000-Submission Milestone Is Just Around the Corner

The number of domain names in the national domain zone of Uzbekistan has exceeded 9,400. This number represents a 25% increase since the beginning of the year, or 1,860 domain names.

During 2009, 4,312 new domains were registered in the .UZ domain zone and 2,400 domains were deleted.

At the beginning of the year, there were 7,595 domains in the UZ zone.

5,730 domain names (60%) belong to legal entities, more than 3,760 (40%) – to individuals.
