There won't be a .xxx domain yet.

ICANN has postponed the introduction of a dedicated .xxx domain extension for pornographic websites. A decision on the need for this domain will be made this fall during the organization's meeting in Brussels.

ICANN is currently preparing to accept public comments regarding the .xxx domain zone. Furthermore, the introduction of the new domain zone will be preceded by work on its operating principles and the domain name registration process.

ICANN believes that if a positive decision is made to launch the .xxx zone, it should only have one primary registrar, which will be able to delegate its powers to other companies.
