More than 800,000 names are registered in the .РФ domain.

According to Ru-Center, the number of registered domains in the .РФ zone is approaching 800,000.

However, the rate of domain name registration has slowed. As a reminder, nearly 500,000 domains were registered in this domain zone in the first week after registration became available, with another 300,000 registered within six months.

The .РФ domain has been linked to various scandals. For example, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service is still investigating registrars who registered domains in their own names and later auctioned them off.
