The number of names in Kazakhstan's .KZ domain has increased by 1,300.

In September 2010, the number of new domain names in the Kazakhstan .KZ domain zone increased by 1,300. This is 140 new domain registration applications more than the previous month.

Residents of Kazakhstan showed little interest in Cyrillic domains—in September, only 12 applications for Cyrillic domain names were submitted. In June, the number of such applications reached 81.

In December last year, the domain zone of KazakhstansurvivedA record number of registrations were filed – approximately 1,600 applications for new domain names were submitted here.
