IDN registration is now available in the Vietnamese domain.

The .VN domain administrator announced that free registration of names using national alphabet characters (IDN) has begun. Domains are currently free to register.

In this way, the company plans to popularize internationalized domain names and promote the development of the Internet in the country.

Registration is available to both legal entities and individuals. The promotional campaign to register IDN names in .VN has reportedly been successful, with over 30,000 such domains registered last Friday alone.

Registration takes place on a first come, first served basis.
