On February 7, 2012, the domain was put up for auction. The starting price was $10,000. A short time later, the starting price was reduced to $7,000.

Last week, the domain's Whois data changed - first the registrar's data, and then the admin-c's data, that is, the domain owner's data.

Zezya Blog reports that the buyer of the Upload.com.ua domain was Danylo Olegovich Shevchenko, who owns more than 30 second-level .UA domains, including sape.ua, radikal.ua, motel.ua, prodam.ua, flat.ua, mariupol.ua, and others (his handle SDO7-UANIC appears in them).

Thus, the website's domain with a daily audience of over 25,000 and a TIC of 1400 turned out to be a profitable commodity for its previous owners.
