.BIZ and .ORG domains will cost more

Neustar, the administrator of the .BIZ international domain zone, is raising prices for domain names registered there. Effective April 1, 2011, the company is increasing the registrar fee by $0.45. This means the domain price for registrars will increase from $6.85 to $7.30, and with the ICANN fee, to $7.48.

Similarly, starting April 1, 2011, domain prices for sites in the .ORG domain zone are expected to increase to $7.21, according to the domain administrator, Public Interest Registry.

At the same time, a large-scale advertising campaign for the .ORG domain is planned to be launched.
