Wallet One begins accepting payments in Ukraine

On June 2, 2007, the "One Wallet" payment service was launched in Russia. Today, June 2, 2010, on its third anniversary, the service launches in Ukraine.

The new payment service in Ukraine is called "Ediny Gamanets" and is available at http://www.W1.ua. The Ukrainian equivalent of "Ediny Wallet" is denominated in hryvnia, and the client application interface is available in a Ukrainian-language version.

"We are introducing a convenient tool for regular online payments, including via mobile devices, that has proven successful in Russia, and we are confident that it will be in demand by Ukrainian users," says Konstantin Shilov, head of the Unified Wallet payment service (Russia).

The service is launching with a solid list of payment recipients, including Ukraine's leading mobile, internet, and digital television operators: Beeline, CDMA UA, life:), Kyivstar, MTS, PeopleNet, Utel, Intertelecom, Vega, and Viasat, with payments being commission-free.

You can top up your hryvnia wallet in a variety of ways, including through an extensive network of over 14,000 payment terminals across Ukraine, including OSMP, EasySoft, 24nonStop, Pegas, RegulPay, and City-Pay.
