Experts doubt the separation of the .РФ and .RU domains.

Experts believe that it will not be possible to completely separate the .РФ and .RU domain zones, as it isit was plannedPreviously. As a reminder, after the launch of the Cyrillic domain zone in Russia, there were plans to prohibit duplication of .RU sites with .РФ sites.

Meanwhile, analysts and market participants believe that this is unrealistic, as new websites in the .РФ zone will be created as copies of their .RU counterparts.

In comments to Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, internet expert Mikhail Genin stated that it would be impossible to avoid website duplication. Furthermore, Genin believes that Cyrillic websites in the Russian Federation zone will not be very popular.
