Electronic Arts failed to register the SSX.com domain for its game.

One of the largest game developers, Electronic Arts, was unable to register the domain name SSX.com.

This domain is now owned by Abstract Holdings International LTD.

Electronic Arts plans to release a new version of the SSX simulator in March 2012. Abstract Holdings paid $200,000 for the SSX.com domain. Initially, the domain was used to host game-related advertising. This led to a lawsuit filed in the National Arbitration Forum, accusing the domain owner of unfair use.

However, the arbitration court did not satisfy Electronic Arts' claims.
