Facebook has violated trademark rights.

Facebook infringed the trademark of Timelines.com after Facebook launched a new user profile format.

Timelines.com has filed a lawsuit against Facebook, accusing the social network of trademark infringement and market exclusion.

The company introduced a new user profile format called Timelines a few days ago. The Timelines feature in these profiles allows users to easily view a user's entire post history, including the ability to add posts from the past.

The Timelines.com web project allows you to create articles about any event and post them on the timeline. You can add links to the article.

Timelines.com claims the social network has begun using someone else's Timelines trademark without permission to promote its new product. Users will be misled into believing Timelines.com is affiliated with Facebook.

Additionally, Facebook has discontinued the Timelines.com public page on the social network and has begun redirecting users to the help section for the new Facebook feature.
