Go Daddy Becomes the Leader in .CO Domain Name Registrations

Go Daddy is responsible for more than a third of all .CO domain registrations, according to a new study by HosterStats.

HosterStats specialists analyzed more than 616,000 domains and found that 32.69% of them list domaincontrol.com, a Go Daddy service, as their registrar.

Two other Go Daddy registrars, secureserver.net and cashparking.com, account for 3.89% and 3.42% of .CO registrations.

Experts consider the figure of 616,000 domains sufficiently reliable for analyzing a sample of all domain names in the zone to estimate the share of Go Daddy.
