Go Daddy surpasses 50 million domain names

A few days ago, Go Daddy, one of the largest domain name registrars in the world, surpassed the 50 million domain name mark.

Remarkably, this happened faster than previously planned. The company had expected to reach the fifty million mark only by mid-month.

The anniversary domain was DBAkit.com, registered to a user from India.

Today, the Go Daddy group of companies controls almost 4 times more domains than its closest competitors.
