The number of .TEL domains has grown by 41% in a year (infographic)
Telnic, the administrator of the .TEL domain, has presented a report on the state of the domain at the beginning of 2012.
Specifically, the document notes that it will soon be possible to add videos to .TEL sites – this can only be done using the API.
The ability to add video is a sign that the .TEL domain is becoming a little more like a web page.
Currently, .TEL website owners represent 181 countries. .TEL websites support the top 10 most widely used languages in the world.
