A new DNS node for Russian domains has been created in Hong Kong.

In early December, another DNS network node was launched in Hong Kong, designed to serve the .RU, .SU, and .РФ domains.

Thanks to the launch of this node, requests from users in Asia to Russian domains will now be processed faster.

Connectivity of the Hong Kong DNS node to Asian networks is provided by global provider PCCW Global, which also ensures protection of the new node from DDoS attacks.

The node processes approximately 15% of the total number of DNS requests and is currently third in terms of the number of requests after the Moscow and New York DNS nodes.

The new node will allow for more even distribution of load across the existing network, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
