Google will be held accountable for patent infringement.

Google will once again be held accountable for intellectual property infringement. EMG Technology has accused Google of illegally using its technologies. This relates to the use of technologies in the Google Chrome mobile browser.

According to EMG Technology, Google infringed Patent No. 7,441,196, issued in the fall of 2008. The patent describes technology related to processing and optimizing content when it is displayed on a mobile device. Furthermore, the patent describes principles for navigating web pages.

According to EMG Technology, these technologies are violated in the mobile version of the Google Chrome browser, which is installed as the default browser on smartphones and tablets from manufacturers such as Motorola Mobility and Samsung.

EMG Technology plans to seek monetary compensation. Furthermore, the company seeks an injunction against further use of the patented designs. EMG Technology has previously sued other major companies, including Apple last year.
