Google has resumed indexing .CO.CC domain sites.

After blocking the domain for nearly six months, Google has reinstated websites in the .CO.CC domain zone in its search index. According to search results, there are over 100 million web resources in this domain zone.

In the summer of 2011, approximately 11 million websites in the .CO.CC domain were removed from Google's index. The company explained its decision by saying that most of the sites in this domain zone were spammers, meaning they were involved in sending unwanted advertising.

Google treated the .CO.CC domain extension as free hosting. According to the company's rules, it can completely exclude from its search index a domain that contains a large number of spam sites or sites with low-quality content.
