Google launches virus warning system
Google's search engine will help users identify potentially dangerous web pages.
The company has learned to detect that search traffic from infected computers looks different. Therefore, search engine users will now see a message on the search results page if their computer is potentially infected.
For now, this concerns computers that are part of a single large botnet. In the future, the company will be able to report viruses in the event of other infections as well.
Google does not yet know the name or origin of the malware.
