ICANN has again delayed the deadline for accepting applications for new gTLDs.

ICANN planned to disclose information about applicants for the New gTLD program on April 30. However, technical issues prevented ICANN from completing the application process.

According to ICANN President Rod Beckstrom, the organization's plans for rolling out the new top-level domains program will remain unchanged. However, the timing for introducing these domains will be slightly delayed.

Beckstrom said that information about applications for new domains will likely be disclosed at the end of June at the ICANN meeting in Prague.

As a reminder, on April 12, the day the application deadline for top-level domains was reached, an error was detected in the application system, resulting in ICANN suspending the application process and announcing plans to extend it.

ICANN is currently reviewing the TAS registration system logs to identify errors.
