ICANN formalizes relationship with Papua New Guinea (.PG) ccTLD manager

ICANN announced that on March 10, it exchanged letters with the Papua New Guinea University of Technology, which manages the .PG domain zone.

Administrators of country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) have two ways to formalize their relationship with ICANN.

The first way is to sign a document on accountability principles, which sets out the responsibilities of the national domain administrator and

ICANN. This document describes dispute resolution policies and is intended for ccTLD administrators who wish to formalize their relationship with ICANN.

The second method is an exchange of letters between ICANN and the ccTLD manager. This is intended for those administrators who are willing to cooperate on
